Lemon yellow was the theme and favorite color for one of our recent bride and groom, Shayna Baker and Josh DuPre. Both are friends with Michael W. Smith…who owns this fabulous party barn on his farm in Franklin, Tennessee. Shayna wanted lemons and limes with sunflowers, baby’s breath, yellow and white tulips everywhere! To go along with the “farm” look…the guest tables were long rectangles, rather than rounds…which gave us plenty of table space for multi-florals and candles,etc.
The escort card table was fully loaded with fresh lemons and limes…each guest took their cards with them to their assigned tables..which added more color to the guest tables.
Multiple centerpieces consisting of bright sunflowers and simple “baby’s breath” were placed in mason jars and square glass containers (for just a touch of contemporary), along with white lanterns purchased by the bride.
Chic rustique! What a fabulous farm for a wedding reception! I know the guests also enjoyed the food from Chef’s Market…who wouldn’t??
