This past Friday night Branching Out had the pleasure of working with a lovely bride, Ashley Hansen to design the floral decor for her wedding. I just took a few shots of the setup as we were working. This event was held at Radius 10, a great hot new restaurant in Nashville in the “Gulch” area. The reception was not only inside the entire restaurant, but a tent was added to the patio area as well.
One photo is of the cocktail area as the guest arrived…note that this photo was taken in daylight..and as it turned dark and the house lights were down, these cylinders are uplit from the base with battery operated halogen spotlights.
On the guest tables, we used various glass containers (beakers, bulb vases, squares, rounds,etc) with stems of purple denrobium orchids, green cymbidium orchids, purple freesia…for a clean, cool, refreshing look.
In the center of the tent, a “chandelier” of hand strung orchids, each with lavender or green crystals.(Thanks to Jodi & Christine..my design team) The weather was delightful, not hot at all..and a nice breeze was blowing, so this slowly turned..as if by magic!
